This volume contains 25 articles covering a wide array of subjects, reflecting the breadth scholarship one today’s leading experts in field Frisian Studies. The articles, written mostly English and German, encompass temporal range from Old to Modern geographical West Netherlands Sater North Germany, include Low German. Some initiate new fields enquiry, e.g. uncharted areas dialectology, others give comprehensive reviews certain domains, provenance law texts, while third category focusses on specific topics ranging phonology, grammar etymology aspects literature medieval ballad.This ebook is Open Access under CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license.
